第３回植樹祭　令和７年６月２９日（日）

それじゃあ、これからあの、植樹祭（しょくじゅさい）を始めます。第3回目です。

で、いやいや、小さい子供が多いですけど。ちょっと後ろ見てみてください。後ろ見てわかるとおりですね、この辺で一番見晴らしのいい場所です。で、ここに、おそらく見張り台みたいなのがありましてね。で、あっちから来る人とこっちから来る人、そういう人たちを見張ってたっていう。で、それがおそらく450年から500年前だと思います。

で、それが、南部さんがここに来た時に、負けましてね、ここの城も落ちたと。それでそのあともう、どうなったかわかりませんけども、近頃までは手つかずでずっとありました。で、ついこないだまでそこに、ほら、木の切り株がありますけど、このように木がですね、ぼうぼうと生えていました。

で、それ我々があの、ここにいるおじいさんて言いますか、おじさんて言いますか、ボランティアでですね、全部こう、平場にできるように切りました。で、それから皆さん今登ってきた道路あります。あれも、これ昔からの道路だそうです。で、道路は少しは痕跡があったんですけれども、通れるような状態ではありませんでした。

で、あの、このバックホーっていう機械を使ってですね、広げて、で、きれいにしました。それが、うーんと、2022年だったすかね。で、そっから始めて今年で4年目になります。

で、今日皆さんに、あの、桜の木を植えてもらいます。5本植えてもらいます。で、皆さんがですね、今いくつぐらいだ、えーと、7歳、8歳、9歳ぐらいですか？あとちょっと10年後を思い浮かべてください。10年後。皆さんが二十歳近くになります。18が成人ですので、成人を超えるわけですね。そうした時に、ちょっと春、あの辺を通る時にですね、こっちをこう見て、桜が咲いてるなと。あ、これ自分たちが植えた木だなということをちょっと思い出してください。

で、その次に、その時にここを整備してくれる人たちが、いればいいんですけども、もし居ない場合は、皆さんの手でですね、少しこれをきれいにしてもらいたいと。そういうのが我々の願いです。

で、今日はそういうことを思いながら、昔、ま、ここにどういう人たちがこう見張っていたのかわかりませんけどもね、そういう人たちを思いながら、じっくりと桜の木を植えてください。以上です。

So today, we're going to have you all plant cherry trees. You'll be planting five of them. So, all of you... how old are you now? Um, around 7, 8, or 9 years old? Please, try to imagine 10 years from now. In 10 years. You will all be nearly 20. Since 18 is the age of adulthood, you'll be adults by then, won't you? At that time, in the spring, when you're passing by here, I hope you'll look this way and think, "The cherry blossoms are blooming." And I hope you'll remember, "Ah, that's the tree we planted."

And then, in the future, it would be great if there are people to maintain this area. But if there aren't, we hope that you will help keep it clean with your own hands. That is our wish.
